On the way.
Shortly after 1 p.m., after a difficult yet very warm farewell, I boarded a plane to Munich. After a smooth transfer to the flight to New York, I took a seat next to a 67-year-old Italian man. A moment later, after he asked me where I was flying, what I did, and so on, it turned out that he was an orthopedist. A very pleasant man! One thing led to another, and he also began to speak about his other occupations and practices. With great interest, I learned that this conventional orthopedist treated patients in a slightly unconventional way, and that orthopedics itself had rather been pushed aside some time ago. I began listening to stories about the basics of homeotherapy (treating the flu with what causes it, and so on) — I must admit I rubbed my eyes a little ;) I wrote above that he "moved on to practices," because a moment later, on my knee, he began searching for one of the important points in acupuncture! No, no, there was no inappropriate touching, but I will gladly use that trick on someone... :P We continued talking, among other things, about the situation in southern Italy, where more and more immigrants from Africa are being brought in, and about Romanians, who, as I learned, cause quite a bit of trouble there. I also learned the answer to the question: "What's the different between Italians and Eastern Europe people?" Italians love to make love, the second one drinks. And where do we fit on that map?
