Pediatric surgery specialist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, creator of MedTech solutions — from the operating room, through research laboratories in the USA, to managing technology companies transforming the face of medicine.
Clinical roots
I began my medical studies in 2006 at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, after which I continued my education at the Wroclaw Medical University, where I obtained my medical degree in 2012. While still a student, I began building projects combining medicine and technology.
From degree to specialization
In 2019, I defended my doctoral dissertation at the Wroclaw Medical University. The dissertation „Does peritoneal lavage during laparoscopy increase the inflammatory response of tissues? An experimental study” combined experimental work with surgical practice. In March 2020, I passed the specialization exam in pediatric surgery with a grade of 4.5.
International internships
Cincinnati Fetal Center, Cleveland Clinic (USA), and Clinica Cavadas (Spain) — experience gained at leading centers of fetal surgery, microsurgery, and reconstruction.

Clinical practice, science
and entrepreneurship
Alongside my clinical work at the Department and Clinic of Pediatric Surgery and Urology in Wroclaw, I develop projects at the intersection of medicine and technology. Since 2012, I have co-created the Infermedica artificial intelligence system — first as a medical content editor, and since 2019 as Head of Clinical Validation.
In 2015, I founded the MedTech company — MEDUCASE Ltd, which builds case-based medical education platforms. Earlier, in 2009, I created the PrzypadkiMedyczne.pl portal — a scientific journal and educational forum that has served students and doctors for years.
